A Tough Decision…

Well, after over five years in the digital scrapbooking business, it's come time for me to close ScrapArtist.

This was not an easy decision for me to make. I feel sad today but also at peace with my decision. The site grew so big so fast and even with all the help I had, it got to be too much for me. I prefer designing so I'll be re-focusing my efforts in that direction and will be using this blog and my website, nancierowejanitz.com as my new digital residence.

There is so much that I'm proud of! The concept I dreamed up five years ago, the amazing people that I've worked with over the years who built SA up from a tiny one-woman shop to what it is today and especially what ScrapArtist represented in the community. I think we were an eclectic group of artists but above all we were authentic. I am really proud of that. Through all the growth, we managed to continue to project the small-boutique atmosphere that was my original vision. I am going to miss all of you wonderful girls, but I know we'll be "seeing" each other online!

We will be closing ScrapArtist effective Sept. 15th, but will be available for any outstanding customer issues until the 20th.

**Important***: If you are currently enrolled in Amanda's Inside the ScrapArtist Studio, she'll be hosting this workshop at her own site, AmandaRockwell.com, after next week. Currently Amanda is in the process of adding her students to the new location. We'll have more information for you next week with a link and log-in instructions, please make sure your email addresses are up to date in the forums for that extra information.

We have so enjoyed creating and inspiring these past few years and we thank you for your friendships and patronage!

Much Love!
Nan

Katherine's Etsy shoppe, Sleep and her Sisters, is filled with magical paintings of women with pretty patterned clothes and beautiful textured subtle backdrops. She inspired me to create these Hopeful Art Textures, now at ScrapArtist!
